This is absolutely unacceptable and unless it is fully fixed by Tuesday then I will cancel everything and keep my Bell service - I'd rather give them an extra $50 per month for something that works than to give you a single penny for this horrible service.ġ1:01 AM - Hooked up the Living Room TV, it workedġ1:10 AM - Hooked up the Master Bedroom TV, it workedġ1:20 AM - connected my wife's mobile phone to the wifi, it workedġ1:25 AM - Connected my work laptop to the wifi, within 30 seconds everything droppedġ1:30 AM - After 5 full minutes everything came back up except my work laptopġ1:32 AM - Connected my work laptop to the wifi again, within 30 seconds everything dropped. As you can see, every time I connect my work laptop to the wifi, everything connected to wifi drops and takes 5 full minutes to reconnect. Here is a timeline of what happened since then. Then around 11am today, I hooked back up all my Rogers hardware so I could give it a real test over the long weekend. So this morning I unplugged all my Bell hardware and packed it away in a box far which I placed away from the rogers hardware so I could completely rule out interference. Of course I tried power cycling everything, that's the automatic first troubleshooting step anyone should take when technology malfunctions.Īfter I wrote my initial post here a couple days ago, I unplugged rogers and plugged my Bell hardware back in until this morning because I needed to have a stable system so I could work on Thu and Fri - I have not yet asked Bell to disconnect me because I needed to test your system to see if it will meet my needs before committing. And the quality is even better too!ĮDIT2: I live on the 1st floor of an apartment building and my leaf is so good it picks up signals going through 2 walls in my own apt and has to LOS through 2 other apartments.Laura, I'm not a novice. Can't believe it took me this long to finally tell them to go fuck themselves on the cable TV side of their business.ĮDIT: Got a mohu leaf and I live 30/40 miles from most of the OTA antennas and still can pick up CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, FOX and the CW. Took me long enough to do and the first week or 2 was a little rough for adjusting but since then I couldn't be happier. So I told them to go ahead and cancel everything but my internet. So my choices were to take a new promotional package for a yr or 2 that is higher than what I paid or continue with my current package that jumped back to the original price which is outrageous. This is great until they literally tell you that their new "promotional packages" are still higher than the package I have which they no longer offer after the promotion period expired. M: I've had my spies in there running recon! When's the last time you cleaned that headset? M: That's the kind of thinking that got you into this mess in the first place! It's why you're in debt half a million dollars! I embrace solutions! What are we going to do here?ĬS: We seem to have exhausted every option, sir. Kind of just want to watch Cops.ĬS: I understand, but these moves are made in order to pass along savings to our customers. There's been a slight change in our channel lineup, if you'd like to upgrade your service we can take care of you right now. Just wondering if there's something we can do.ĬS: Oh, sorry to hear you're having that issue, I've actually had a few calls about that today. Seems that Spike isn't available on my cable tier anymore for some reason. Maklershed: Hi Janice, how are you doing? This is Janice, how can I assist you today? Customer Service: Hello, thanks for calling Comcast.
